Messages you start — restock alerts, offers, follow-ups — must use a Meta-approved template. Build, submit and send without leaving ReplyX.
10 minutes to build; approval usually within hours
WhatsApp lets you reply freely for 24 hours after a customer's last message. Outside that window — and for any conversation you start — Meta requires a pre-approved template. It's WhatsApp's spam control, and it's also what Meta bills for, so knowing the rules keeps your costs predictable.
In Broadcasts → Templates, compose the message: a body with {{1}}-style variables, an optional media header (image, video or document), and optional buttons — quick replies or a URL. Pick the category honestly: Marketing for promotions, Utility for order updates.
ReplyX submits it to Meta and tracks the status — Pending → Approved (often within hours) or Rejected with the reason, so you can fix and resubmit. Approved templates appear in the broadcast composer automatically.
Pick an approved template, fill its variables, and choose the audience — all contacts or filtered by tag. Anyone who has opted out is excluded automatically.
Send immediately or pick a time. Delivery runs in the background at a safe rate.
The broadcast page shows per-recipient status — sent, delivered, read, failed — live as receipts come back from Meta.
