Getting started

From signup to first AI answer

The four things that happen between creating an account and watching the AI answer a real customer.

About 15 minutes

The shape of the product

ReplyX is three things wired together: channels where customers message you, a knowledge base the AI answers from, and a shared inbox where your team sees everything and takes over when the AI can't answer. Everything else — analytics, workflows, broadcasts, tickets — hangs off those three.

The first fifteen minutes

1

Create your workspace

Sign up with your email. The free plan needs no card and includes enough AI conversations to evaluate properly.

2

Give the AI something to know

Open Knowledge and add what customers actually ask about: prices, delivery areas and times, return rules, payment methods. Paste text, upload files, or import a page from your website. Thin knowledge is the number-one reason an AI hands off to humans — ten good answers beat a hundred vague ones.

3

Connect your first channel

Start with the website widget (one script tag, under a minute) or Telegram (paste a bot token). Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and email follow the same pattern with a little more setup — each has its own guide below.

4

Watch the inbox

Send yourself a message on the channel you connected. It appears in Inbox, the AI answers from your knowledge, and anything it can't answer flips the conversation to handoff with the reason attached.

Questions the AI couldn't answer collect in Knowledge → Gaps. Write the answer once and it becomes knowledge — the next customer who asks gets it instantly. This is how the handoff rate falls week over week.

When your team joins

Invite teammates from Settings → Team. Conversations can be assigned, tagged and noted; handoffs route to whoever is free. Nothing about the AI changes when people join — it keeps taking the first pass and your team takes the rest.
