Turn a support address into a channel

Route support@yourcompany through ReplyX. Replies go out from your own address and keep the thread.

15–30 minutes, mostly DNS

Connect it

1

Have an email provider ready

ReplyX sends and receives mail through an email provider — Resend, Postmark, Mailgun or SendGrid. You need an account there with your sending domain added. Resend is the simplest to start with.

2

Verify your domain

In the provider, add your domain and the SPF and DKIM DNS records it gives you. This proves you own the address so replies don't land in spam. Wait until the domain shows Verified.

3

Add the email channel

Add Channel → Email Support → enter the address customers write to (for example support@yourdomain.com) → pick an AI agent → Connect.

4

Route inbound mail to ReplyX

In your provider's Inbound / Receiving settings, route mail sent to your support address to the webhook below — it posts each email to ReplyX as JSON.

Inbound webhook

Test it: email your support address from another account. It appears in your inbox within seconds, and the AI replies from your address, keeping the same subject thread.

What email gets you

  • Each sender becomes a contact and each exchange a conversation — with an owner, not a shared mailbox
  • Replies go out from your address, not ours
  • The same knowledge and handoff rules as every chat channel
